SONG SUBMISSION
NHOAH has made his name as a producer, composer, DJ, mixing engineer, record label owner and artist.
To his core, NHOAH is devoted to creative culture and its inhabitants, drawing recognition from leading music publications such as Resident Advisor, Quietus, Mixmag Brasil,TRAX Mag, Clash Magazine, PopMatters, Magnetic Magazine, Data Transmission, The Arts Desk, MTV London and Electronic Groove as well as airplay on BBC 6 Nemone's Electric Ladyland.
He performed a live video on a suspended glass stairway on the Dachstein Glacier called ' Stairway To Nothingness - Glacier Concert’ as well as a ‘ Live Set In A Storm In A Wall-less Skyscraper’, both of which premiered via BE-AT TV and has racked up over 900k views across streaming platforms to date.
NHOAH has worked alongside the producers of The Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, and Bronski Beat’s Larry Steinbachek , and his album Tangowerk was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
LIVE SET
This live set is a hybrid set, with few technical requirements: only a DJ mixer & at least 2 CDJs should be provided by the venue. An electronic drum set and a synthesizer are also connected to these. In the best case, NHOAH is accompanied by 1-2 female singers. Everything will be mixed live by NHOAH. The front of house technician will only need to receive a complete stereo sum. That's it. The following YouTube video is a live recording of a 75 minute live set.
DJ SET
Depending on the location, event and time, the DJ sets will vary. As with all DJs, they are subject to continuous change. At the moment NHOAH plays mostly sets between 126 - 145 bpm. The sets change between tech house and techno. They sometimes include vocals, are in their way melodic and definitely driving. The most popular booking time is main time 2-4:00. Other variations are possible, and can be discussed.

LOVE THAT THERE - OUT NOW - there were always big gaps on my way to finding the ideal set for DJing. far too often I couldn’t realise my musical ideas and then started producing new tracks to fill the gaps. LOVE THAT THERE was a lot more rave in the beginning and a lot harder in the beat, so it was called DERBE DERBE until i felt that the track wanted to go somewhere else. it demanded more soul. the moment i decided to go in that direction, the track took off on its own. i’m still very moved when i remember the first time i heard the finished track in front of my speakers in the studio. everything was in its place, everything was right. LOVE THAT THERE is a track i can’t improve on. it grabs me from the first bass groove and the vocal parts touch my soul. when the rap sample comes in, i’m fidgeting like crazy. there was the club track i wanted, only it was completely different than i thought. that’s the wonderful thing about music, everything always turns out different. i hope you like it as much as i do

I met him four years ago in one of the hippest clubs in Vienna where he worked. But it was only now, much later, that we found each other again.
For months I had been searching in vain for a suitable rapper who was willing to perform at 138 bpm. I was about to give up, but then the phone rang and Mello1 called to ask if I wanted to develop some beats with him. It was a godsend. I didn't even know he rapped! We met up immediately and spent two days recording freestyles, then the track 'Sommernacht (Tanz den Takt) feat Mello1' was finished. We barely had time to empty our drinks. NHOAH has worked alongside the producers of The Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, and Bronski Beat’s Larry Steinbachek , and his album Tangowerk was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
LIVE SET
This live set is a hybrid set, with few technical requirements: only a DJ mixer & at least 2 CDJs should be provided by the venue. An electronic drum set and a synthesizer are also connected to these. In the best case, NHOAH is accompanied by 1-2 female singers. Everything will be mixed live by NHOAH. The front of house technician will only need to receive a complete stereo sum. That's it. The following YouTube video is a live recording of a 75 minute live set.
DJ SET
Depending on the location, event and time, the DJ sets will vary. As with all DJs, they are subject to continuous change. At the moment NHOAH plays mostly sets between 126 - 145 bpm. The sets change between tech house and techno. They sometimes include vocals, are in their way melodic and definitely driving. The most popular booking time is main time 2-4:00. Other variations are possible, and can be discussed.

LOVE THAT THERE - OUT NOW - there were always big gaps on my way to finding the ideal set for DJing. far too often I couldn’t realise my musical ideas and then started producing new tracks to fill the gaps. LOVE THAT THERE was a lot more rave in the beginning and a lot harder in the beat, so it was called DERBE DERBE until i felt that the track wanted to go somewhere else. it demanded more soul. the moment i decided to go in that direction, the track took off on its own. i’m still very moved when i remember the first time i heard the finished track in front of my speakers in the studio. everything was in its place, everything was right. LOVE THAT THERE is a track i can’t improve on. it grabs me from the first bass groove and the vocal parts touch my soul. when the rap sample comes in, i’m fidgeting like crazy. there was the club track i wanted, only it was completely different than i thought. that’s the wonderful thing about music, everything always turns out different. i hope you like it as much as i do

I met him four years ago in one of the hippest clubs in Vienna where he worked. But it was only now, much later, that we found each other again.
For months I had been searching in vain for a suitable rapper who was willing to perform at 138 bpm. I was about to give up, but then the phone rang and Mello1 called to ask if I wanted to develop some beats with him. It was a godsend. I didn't even know he rapped! We met up immediately and spent two days recording freestyles, then the track 'Sommernacht (Tanz den Takt) feat Mello1' was finished. We barely had time to empty our drinks. Rarely has a collaboration with so much inspired power happened by chance. i was reading ‚Sweet Dreams‘ by @dylanjones and then i looked for my NEW ROMANTIC band memories in the drawer. To find this foto became then really romantic. LIVE SET
This live set is a hybrid set, with few technical requirements: only a DJ mixer & at least 2 CDJs should be provided by the venue. An electronic drum set and a synthesizer are also connected to these. In the best case, NHOAH is accompanied by 1-2 female singers. Everything will be mixed live by NHOAH. The front of house technician will only need to receive a complete stereo sum. That's it. The following YouTube video is a live recording of a 75 minute live set.

The sets change between tech house and techno. They sometimes include vocals, are in their way melodic and definitely driving. The most popular booking time is main time 2-4:00. Other variations are possible, and can be discussed.

LOVE THAT THERE - OUT NOW - there were always big gaps on my way to finding the ideal set for DJing. far too often I couldn’t realise my musical ideas and then started producing new tracks to fill the gaps. LOVE THAT THERE was a lot more rave in the beginning and a lot harder in the beat, so it was called DERBE DERBE until i felt that the track wanted to go somewhere else. it demanded more soul. the moment i decided to go in that direction, the track took off on its own. i’m still very moved when i remember the first time i heard the finished track in front of my speakers in the studio. everything was in its place, everything was right. LOVE THAT THERE is a track i can’t improve on. it grabs me from the first bass groove and the vocal parts touch my soul. when the rap sample comes in, i’m fidgeting like crazy. there was the club track i wanted, only it was completely different than i thought. that’s the wonderful thing about music, everything always turns out different. i hope you like it as much as i do

I met him four years ago in one of the hippest clubs in Vienna where he worked. But it was only now, much later, that we found each other again.
For months I had been searching in vain for a suitable rapper who was willing to perform at 138 bpm. I was about to give up, but then the phone rang and Mello1 called to ask if I wanted to develop some beats with him. It was a godsend. I didn't even know he rapped! We met up immediately and spent two days recording freestyles, then the track 'Sommernacht (Tanz den Takt) feat Mello1' was finished. We barely had time to empty our drinks. Rarely has a collaboration with so much inspired power happened by chance. i was reading ‚Sweet Dreams‘ by @dylanjones and then i looked for my NEW ROMANTIC band memories in the drawer. To find this foto became then really romantic. We shot that crazy video for ‘Don‘t Get High‘ with 15 friends inside a cramped toilet. In fact, in a place you wouldn’t think to freak out to music, we had the rudest toilet rave. It was the most positive way of a collective ventilation.

before upcoming shows there is a lot to practise. quite apart from the live sets where i play keyboards and drums as well, a dj set is not without its pitfalls. of course every dj knows that it's not just a few tracks that are played one after the other. in the meantime i fire off about 400 music parts in a three-hour set. mixing them tonally, in tempo, in mood, according to their statement is a hell of a lot of fun, but it's also a matter of practising. and that's what i do here ...
