Among the broad and diverse electronic music community there are very few true mavericks who uphold the core belief that music is the result of something bigger than us, something divine. NHOAH is one of these rare artists. NHOAH operates in his own domain, with unflinching dedication to maintaining the purity and conscious impact of music - evident in his output and ethos. A seasoned musical alchemist, whose 2018 album West-Berlin demonstrated his prowess as a solo producer, NHOAH continues to evolve and develop his unique sound, while keeping his heart, mind and soul fully engaged with the club environment - a place where he is most at home, where union and communion facilitate the ongoing progression of human consciousness.
NHOAH has been fascinated with dance music since he was a naive 10-year-old. A few decades on and that same enchantment continues present in his outlook. Driven to create and release music that is honest and true, NHOAH was playing drums in bands in his hometown Berlin back in 1980. By the mid-eighties he was in the studio with prominent figures such as Larry Steinbacheck/Bronski Beat, Brian Pugsley, Gareth Jones and Rio Reiser. Based at two of Berlin’s best-known studios, Hansa Tonstudio and Tritonus Studio, he established himself as an exceptional songwriter and mixer, laying the foundations of his successful career. Throughout the eighties and nineties his dedication to electronic music continued, culminating in the conception of record label and artist management company R.O.T respectortolerate in 1998.
In 2017, he underwent a transformation, launching himself as a solo artist, inspired by developments in audio technology. The result was his 2018 LP West-Berlin, which picked up positive reviews across the media. West-Berlin album showcased his ability to compose music that resonates with the dance floor - the home of electronic dance music. NHOAH’s natural curiosity and passion for human movement, individually and collectively, lies at the core of his inspiration and motivation. Always seeking to cultivate a unified atmosphere, and a symbiotic relationship with the dance floor faithful, his DJ sets and live performances draw from the same source of inspiration as his productions. A consummate party connoisseur, DJ set architect, dynamo producer and experienced studio hound, NHOAH has the music, vision, creativity, drive, winning personality and lust for life to set the rave alight every single time...
Among the broad and diverse electronic music community there are very few true mavericks who uphold the core belief that music is the result of something bigger than us, something divine. NHOAH is one of these rare artists. NHOAH operates in his own domain, with unflinching dedication to maintaining the purity and conscious impact of music - evident in his output and ethos. With a decorated career dating back to the eighties, including work with producer Larry Steinbacheck (Bronski Beat), mixing engineer Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode) or Brian Pugsley (Sugarcubes and The Shamen), he has depth of experience complemented by an outlier approach. Combined with his unwavering passion, daring attitude and natural gift for connecting with the dance floor, these attributes position NHOAH as an exceptional artist. A seasoned musical alchemist, whose 2018 album West-Berlin demonstrated his prowess as a solo producer, NHOAH continues to evolve and develop his unique sound, while keeping his heart, mind and soul fully engaged with the club environment - a place where he is most at home, where union and communion facilitate the ongoing progression of human consciousness.
NHOAH has been fascinated with dance music since he was a naive 10-year-old. A few decades on and that same enchantment continues present in his outlook. Driven to create and release music that is honest and true, NHOAH was playing drums in bands in his hometown Berlin back in 1980. By the mid-eighties he was in the studio with prominent figures such as Larry Steinbacheck/Bronski Beat, Brian Pugsley, Gareth Jones and Rio Reiser. Based at two of Berlin’s best-known studios, Hansa Tonstudio and Tritonus Studio, he established himself as an exceptional songwriter and mixer, laying the foundations of his successful career. Throughout the eighties and nineties his dedication to electronic music continued, culminating in the conception of record label and artist management company R.O.T respectortolerate in 1998.
In 2017, he underwent a transformation, launching himself as a solo artist, inspired by developments in audio technology. The result was his 2018 LP West-Berlin, which picked up positive reviews across the media. West-Berlin album showcased his ability to compose music that resonates with the dance floor - the home of electronic dance music. NHOAH’s natural curiosity and passion for human movement, individually and collectively, lies at the core of his inspiration and motivation. Always seeking to cultivate a unified atmosphere, and a symbiotic relationship with the dance floor faithful, his DJ sets and live performances draw from the same source of inspiration as his productions. NHOAH’s reputation as a solo artist was cemented by his album, landing a cover feature with mixmag Brazil in 2021, as well as
numerous interviews with publications such as Music Is 4 Lovers, Electronic Groove and Deep House London.
